The Book of Tharexis Vol.1 - Moonlight - is a tale of magic, friendship, and courage in the face of fear. When the wise wizard Jaethor suddenly collapses after meeting a mysterious bird, his loyal companions are found lost and alone, forced to embark on a journey to save their beloved friend.

Guided by love and haunted by visions, Tharexis must confront his deepest fears as he ventures into a forest of warriors, cults, and secrets, searching for hope to save the one who gave him a home.

Part I follows Tharexis from the safety of the Big Tree into the heart of darkness, ending with a vision that forces him to face the greatest wound of his past

The story

The characters

Jaethor – The forest’s beloved wizard, known for his wisdom, kindness, and miraculous potions carried by wish birds to those in need. When Jaethor falls, the balance of the forest falters, their balance at home falls apart—and his friends must prove how deeply his legacy of love has taken root in their hearts.

Tharexis – A young crow burdened by fear and painful memories. Though he doubts his own bravery, his loyalty to Jaethor pushes him to take flight into the unknown. Tharexis’s journey is not just through the forest, but through the shadows within himself.

Ginsei – A noble warrior of the Moon Rats Clan, guided by honor and loyalty. Though his appearance in Tharexis’s journey comes later, his sword, wisdom, and faith bring a new strength to the fragile crow—and a bond that will be tested by the darkest of trials.

Katoo – A clever cockatoo raised by Jaethor since she was an egg. Fierce, intelligent, and unafraid to lead, she becomes the voice of reason and courage when tragedy strikes, guiding Tharexis toward his journey.
